Oooooh, such glare on these photos!

I used a theme from a showcase further down on the blog:  "Today is a Great Day to Learn Something New." I am filling these showcases with manipulatives and interesting study items. I tried to have this showcase represent a broad range of school subjects. This showcase is in our front hall, next to our school office.

Showcase in a Pinch

You can't go wrong featuring art prints of famous artists.  I didn't have any child art to go up yet, so I used a theme that the kids were studying:  portraiture.
