I never heard of this before. I think my principal would order it because we have empty rods on our paper roll rack. I often use regular fabric as backings on bulletin boards. I look for bold border prints and themes that fit my curriculum. I just wash it up when I take it off the board.
I had the opportunity to test a sample of this over the summer- I was testing a stitchery lesson and I thought it was surprisingly strong, but you can see through it. The plastic jumbo needles will go through with effort- it would be easier to stitch with a real needle, so not as good for younger students. I think it would be great for adding texture to masks (think mohawks or manes), but I have read that it can be difficult to glue. I think I might order some and test it this year.
