Right Brain Bulletin Board

Katie Morris is a prolific bulletin board creator.  Here's one with the theme of "left brain and right brain."  That will go right along with what I am teaching the first few weeks of school.

Katie's blog is Art Teacher Adventures.

Tree of Life

I found this one on Pinterest.  Yay, Pinterest!

It came from this site:  Zart.  I think it is a site that sells Art Supplies, but has work done by students.

Rainbow Hair Everywhere!

This was a pleasing and simple idea I found on a kindergarten blog.  Kindergarten Rocks!

Go to her site and you can get the poem that goes with this.

Artist of the Month

Cassie Stevens was fortunate enough to have college students working with her this year, and lucky enough to have them contribute to her bulletin boards. Check out her blog for more ideas from these ladies:  Cassie Stephens: In the Artroom

"While You are Waiting..."

I love this idea.  My classroom is directly across the hall from a student restroom just as Mr. E's is.  I can relate to the masses sitting outside your door, waiting to use the potty.  Check out Mr. E's blog to see how he is taking advantage of this situation.

I am definitely stealing this one!

Holly, at Lines, Dots and Doodles,  has a fun bulletin board up.  Mona Lisa gives advice on keeping the art room clean in this one.  Check out her blog.  She has several boards in this post.

Right Brain/Left Brain

I'm teaching fifth graders contour drawing now and we talk about left brain/ right brain.  I'd like to have this board in my room for this.  This board is from Katie Morris over at Adventures of an Art Teacher.

"Back to School Night"...in a pinch

Last year, my schedule was so packed, I didn't have time to do my normal filling of bulletin boards and showcases.  This year, our schedule has lessened up, and my administrators gave me one block a week to hang art work.  Yay!!!

Tonight is our "Back to School Night" and I had so many boards and a showcase to fill.  These are a couple of my solutions to the need for a quicky display.

fantastic, incredible and colorful birds

I don't know that this is a bulletin board, but I am thinking about doing this on one of my back to school boards.  I have so many to fill!

Check out the beautiful work at Shana Gutterman's blog.

I Like Art Because......

I love this idea!  I'm thinking that it might be one I do for my end of the school year display, which can also kick of the new school year.  You can find this and other wonderful things at "Art with Ms. Chiddo."

I found this on Pinterest.

Falling and Springing into Art

This one is a fall bulletin board.  I could see it as "Spring into Art" too though.  This is by Michelle Brunner and here's her blog, Art by Michelle Brunner Paintings and Collages.
