Piece of Cake - Showcase
Nic Hahn, at Mini Matisse, had her students study Wayne Thiebaud. Some of them constructed sculptural pieces of cake and Nic displayed them in the school showcase. 3D pieces are some of my favorite things to do in art and one of the reasons is that they can be displayed so nicely in a showcase.
